Two Months

Well, Molly's officially two months old. While I'm not overly concerned about the milestones (did you know that "readily shows disgust" is a milestone?), it is easy to um, think about them maybe a little too often. We're pretty sure she's smiling but she doesn't do it a lot. That may not be a milestone issue, however, it may be that I'm just not very funny. We'll work on her sense of humor.
Molly did attend her first Benefit Luncheon on November 9th. I was a little surprised that there's no little sticker for that milestone in her "Guess How Much I Love You" first year baby calendar. No "first polar fleece" sticker, either. Obviously not created by Seattleites.

Baby Carrier

I went to a babywearing workshop at The Peapod in Ballard and came home with a Mei Tai carrier. It's much easier for me to use than the ring sling I got a few weeks ago plus it crosses in the back so it's more comfortable for both Molly and me. We tried it out today at the Fred Meyer and had much success! Molly snuggled in and I was able to use both hands to paw through the little sleepers that were on sale. :)
She DID get tired before I had the chance to look for a shirt to fit me (no, my pre-pregnancy clothes don't fit yet) but adjusting her in the carrier to comfort her was really easy.
Here are some more photos of the Ellaroo Mei Tai carrier.
And here is a photo that has nothing to do with this post but I thought it was pretty darn cute. I will post pictures of Molly and me with the new carrier at some point.
