Well, duh.

Last week, Molly did not sleep. She did not sleep at night. She did not sleep during the day. The past two nights, she's magically slept. "It must be our new bedtime routine! It's really working! Wow, we're great!". Tonight, we heard her chewing on something and thought she had gotten a paper clip or something equally disastrous. Pried open her mouth and nothing was there. Except a new tooth. She's finally gotten a top tooth and has been grinding the top and bottom teeth together because hey, she can.

Slowest. Parents. Ever.

Haircut

I finally gave in and got Molly's hair cut here. She tolerated it but preferred the playroom to the actual cut. She didn't really see the point of the Baby Einstein video they put in to distract her. In the "during" photo, you can see Molly threatening the stylist with the toy velociraptor that she found.

Urban Babies at the Farm

We went to Remlinger Farms on Monday to play with chickens, ride the train, and explore the wonders of the hay jump. What a fun time we had! Find more farm photos here.

Hide and Seek

She doesn't hide (thankfully) but she's one heck of a seeker. Quiddich, anyone?

Molly has been on a tear the past week. She's had this horrendous cold but that doesn't seem to be holding her back. On the not-so-fun side, she smacked me in the face for singing a song she didn't like and she is starting to cry if she doesn't get the desired outcome in certain situations. But, she also figured out how to slide down the slide backward, on her tummy, after watching some older kid do it. No, I wasn't ready and had to chase her down the slide. She also brought me a book to read the other day -- "Peek-A-Boo Alaska". So I have to admit, the hitting and crying isn't great but the other stuff is really fun. ;)
