Make It Funky

Two great shows in four days. Molly had a good time dancing around at the Chuck Prophet show on Thursday -- the highlight for her was going backstage and meeting Chuck, who kindly received us at set break.

Here she is Sunday at the Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings show where she was grooving even harder. We send a big thanks to Skip for the miracle ticket to the sold out show.

Birthday Mama

Here we are getting ready to go out for my birthday! We went to my favorite restaurant, Chinook's at Fisherman's Terminal. Then we went down to the water in Magnolia to see the last rays of birthday sunlight. Molly was up late but she didn't seem to mind!

At the Fair

We made the pilgrimage to the OCF again this year. Molly really enjoyed camping and especially like the lake ("pool"). Here she is enjoying her ice cream.

Happy Fourth

After much excitement anticipating the upcoming picnic, Molly had a great time! We met up at Golden Gardens and grilled out (well, Brett and James did all the grilling) and the kids played on the equipment. Shortly after this photo was taken, Molly and her friend, Hazel, went to play in the sand. And by "play in the sand", I mean "take huge handfuls of sand and rub it into our scalps". Ah, the beach.
